Position Overview:

We are seeking a driven and experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize daily operational functions within our investment operations department. This individual will oversee trade execution workflows, risk controls, compliance adherence, and reporting functions. The role is pivotal to ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the timely execution and accurate settlement of trades
• Resolve trade discrepancies through coordination with internal teams and external counterparties
• Ensure all post-trade processes are executed efficiently and accurately
• Develop and enforce operational risk management protocols
• Monitor exposure across trading activities and recommend mitigation strategies
• Stay current with regulatory changes and ensure operational processes remain compliant
• Conduct internal reviews and recommend necessary compliance adjustments
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve inquiries related to trades and account operations
• Support client service initiatives by ensuring operational accuracy and responsiveness
• Identify areas for workflow efficiency and implement improvements
• Document and enhance standard operating procedures to support scalability
• Generate performance reports on trade activity, settlements, and risk metrics
• Deliver key operational insights to leadership for strategic decision-making

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in brokerage or investment operations
• FINRA Series 7 and 24 licenses preferred
• Strong knowledge of securities markets, trading platforms, and back-office systems
• Skilled in data tools such as Tableau and Excel
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Portuguese required; Spanish is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
